People who are clueless about directions ...lol...

This coming weekend one of girls from dad's office, Florence is having a house warming. Her new place is at Cote D' Azur. For those who don't stay in the East, she gave us the perfect landmark- it's next to Parkway Parade! You might think that's easy right?

Well not so, Naomi go: " where's parkway parade?"
Florence: you don't know parkway ? It's at Marine parade, it' the oldest shopping center at that area! Everyone knows Parkway!
Naomi: Not me (grin....)
Florence showed her the google map & took another 15 mins to explain how to get there. You might wonder why can't Naomi just take a damn cab right? Well that girl lives in Woodland, that's why. And non- of us stay near her ...lol.. so would not be able to give her a ride. Singapore is so small & yet many of us know nuts about other parts. Come to think of it, so what, if you don't know anything about directions or geography?  Nobody does anymore.

A British news team once asked random Americans on the street to name a country that began with U and nobody came up with United States ....... I told Florence that, & now she wanted to try that on Naomi ...lol..

I'm feeling super duper guilty after eating this !

Just look at this! You can't afford to feast on something like this if you are trying to maintain your weight! But to my defense, I've NOT had a good old fattening meal for a long time & this is my favorite! Mel, the friend who's 'responsible ' for the other meal in the picture, ask me what's the difference between this & MacDonald's hamburger. She has never eaten a gourmet hamburger like this before. And it cost us abt $18 ++ each.

However after we finished lunch, Mel immediately ask me when are we having this again ...lol... see , it's that good & addictive!

Do you take nude pictures of yourself?

My friend texted me a nude picture of our favorite singer she found online, she was shock & angry that someone had leaked such a picture. The pristine image of our 'Goddess " forever stained!

I'm sure you have seen at least some of these celebrities pictures both from the West & East (appearing in various states of nudity online). Some of these pictures showed these women taking selfies in their underwear or nothing else & at one point or another, many of them are sucking on their finger!

Well what you expect people to think ?
1)Why ..oh.. why... would you want to take a 'sucking-on-finger' picture? WHY?
    Please ladies DON'T ever do that! The same goes for sucking on straws, bananas or anything!

2) What the hell these people were thinking of when they took these pictures. We often read 
celebrities whining about the 'terrible' paparazzi invading their privacy & snapping up too many pictures. Yet they're snapping even more pictures of themselves nude!

Get a real hobby, or walk your dog! Why is taking a nude selfie such a irresistible & addictive activity? If you don't want nude pictures of yourself to exist: Don't take any nude pictures of yourself!
Protect yourself!
It's not safe out there!

I'm a big fan of both Uber & Deliveroo.

Business has been slow lately. Economy is seriously pretty bad. It's so boring sitting behind the desk all day with nothing better to do. I had never really learned how to cope with boredom, which made me feel like I was being nibbled to death by tiny invisible ants eating my brain a millionth of a gram at one time. It gave me time to think the same agonizing thoughts about my friends over and over and over again, which I wouldn't have had an opportunity to do if I had been busy !

See my friends had ask me to join them in a new venture. They wanted to open a small cafe & have been pestering me for months. But I'm still in school & working partime in my dad's office & it's difficult to leave. They wanted to be the next ToastBox ...haha... I told my dad & as usual, he ask me to look around at the saturation of such businesses. Dad said if we can come up with an original idea, even he would support me.

Hmmm.... wish we had thought of something like Uber or Deliveroo. Those guys are really doing so well in Singapore. I'm a great great fan of both businesses.

You still did better than me .....

And for the record:

I ate like a garbage today, so even if you had 3 muffins & 2 cokes, you still did better than me.

It's back to salad tomorrow!

What if your boy friend is messy like mine?

I have been dating this guy for 2 months now. Last week he invited me to his home, last minute thing as he needs to change before we go for a movie. Truth is I'm not a particularly 'orderly' person, but my helper quickly puts everything in order the minute I misplace something. I believe she has some kind of disorder- which all of us LOVE & certainly appreciate !!!!!

Anyway back to my current boy friend. His home is a rented bachelor pad in a fancy condo in town. I've never seen a bachelor pad before so didn't know what to expect. Most of my other boy friends were from school so had lived with their parents.

Anyway the moment I entered I realised our preference for order is like north pole vs south pole. There's like a chaotic condition going on .... there were magazines on the floor, on the couch on the TV console in the toilet & even one on the kitchen top! I mean, who does that???? There's also an impractical wine chiller (size of a small fridge) with only a bottle of wine inside!


Yes I opened the fridge to peered inside, I cant resist ...lol... It's full of half-empty dips, over due dairy products, an half eaten apple! Who puts that in a fridge ??? He caught me staring at the contents & reassure me, if I intent to move in, he will get me a separate fridge for my fresh salads & stuff !

Social drinking & your weight loss

When you go to a club or a pub or simply have a drink during a party, do you think of how many calories you are taking in? In a way it takes the fun out of "drinking" if you are forever tracking calories right? My friend after seeing some of our weight loss success, has gone over board - he's tracking all the drinks he's "drowning" as of yesterday ....lol....

We went down to one of the our usual haunts to chill. Guess what, he usually order beer (245 calories)  but yesterday he went with white wine ( 84 calories ) . I wanted a bloody Mary (140 calories)  ,I always drink that but he said no , & get a wine for me. Someone wanted a Jack Daniels & coke (199 calories) & that got him really mad. In the end we were all  'forced' to drink the white wine! Hmmm.... are we going to look even better from now on with all this wine drinking? Sure hope so !
