So what do you get a dog, for it's birthday? Yup a friend invited me to her puppy's 1 year old party. Hmmm..... I wasn't expecting  much. Lots of other dogs & their owners. Lots of barking perhaps & peeing & some poo maybe.

Went to pet lover to get some dog treats. Then Joe another friend, told me I should get the birthday boy 'dog beer' , it's a boy after all. I went ..."WHAT ??? Dog beer?" There's a dog beer ?

Hmmm.... ya, the Prada one looks better but it's also like way.... more than my budget! The Sandro Kermit backpack is cute & I like the color green. Decisions , decisions .... it's time like this, that I wish I have a boyfriend, that'll be more convenient  ...LOL...

Time to go on a diet !

For the past week I have been indulging in chips & coke. I have stopped that for a long time. But then my sister started buying chips again & it's just too distracting. It's like the bags of chips is calling out to me. I can't resist them.

Fast forward a week, I must have put on a ton ....urgh..... Time to go on a diet!

Buying a Dog vs having a Kid.

My friend May from secondary school ,got married last year, yup still really young. She didn't go uni with us & she's asking us " her buddies" for advice. Should she start planning for a baby. We went like :

1) Unless you are Kate Middleton ? You don't need to do that, at least not now. We are still so young.

2) Forget about the argument where: if you have a kid early, when she grows up, the two of you will look like sisters! You forgot , before that even happen, you would be trapped for the next 20 years: while your friends are all having fun, you are being burdened with a baby. You can't go to parties, can't go on exciting trips etc etc.....

3) Your friends will go shopping for the latest fashion & you will be shopping at the kids session!

4) Friends will talk about the latest hottest trends & you will only talk about the kid & probably the mother-in -law!

5) Your friends would have killer bods rocking mini skits & you would probably be fat & wearing frumpy mother clothes!

6) Then someone went: might as well buy a dog! After all of the above, the dog seems like a pretty good idea ....lol...

I'll choose a Dog anytime hahahha... such a cutie !!!

Look on the bright side

Have you noticed the weather is kinda getting pretty crazy lately? The picture of this guy in Siberian with his frosted eyelashes was pretty awesome. Wonder how that feels like.

It was like minus 67 degrees there!Wow...

Back home in Singapore, it  has been raining non-stop. Some of my friends were actually wearing Uniqlo's heatech inner wear to work ...haha... I've been sleeping without air-con for days already. Mum was quite happy, she said electric bills will drop for once😙.

Then today all of a sudden, the sun is back again, with a vengeance. Mum is even happier, she said now, the clothes can dry properly 😀

Not much flooding this time around, but there's a new phenomena , floor tiles from many homes across the country had been popping up!😟 Could it be the rain has sipped into the walls, floors causing cement or whatever there is to expand & pushed up the old tiles? Lucky our place is fine. My neighbor who's a contractor is pretty happy, I just heard him saying he has a ton of new businesses as people were engaging him to deal with their broken floors! Hmm... like they said, every dark cloud has a silver lining. Well the sun is back , I guess things would be back to normal now.

For those whose homes has been affected. Just take it as time for a minor reno before chinese new year. Who knows, a new flooring could bring in lots of good luck for the year! 👍

Welcome 2018

My Friend: Tammy's weight loss.

Tammy my friend finally saw my last blog entry. If you have not read that, I basically was saying she needs to change her mind set about weight loss. She wanted badly to lose weight but refuse to do anything about it. Our group of friends have been bugging her about that for a long time. The weight is affecting her health & self esteem. She finally cracked! After she read it, she got so mad, she said my blog made her struggles with weight , public & embarrasses her! I apologized, we trash it out & she agree she need to take some drastic action.

Last week I accompany her to my doctor & the rest as they say is history. She was pretty nervous, the whole gang sent her encouraging messages throughout ...lol... After she saw Dr Keith Ong, (our go to doctor for all things relating to weight loss), she said " I should have seen him since day one !!" Yup the doctor is funny but most importantly they have something "somewhat" in common.

Dr Keith Ong has a very cute Persian cat "Miu Miu", & he talks about her & even show us all her pictures. Probably to make Tammy feel more comfortable as she's clearly very nervous. And Guess what's Tammy favorite luxury brand brand? Yes it's Miu Miu. She has Miu Miu bags, shoes & everything else. Dr Keith must have notice, since she's dressed in Miu Miu from head to toes haha..... So that's it , the most unlikely liaise has been formed!

And to my greatest surprise, she took everything. Two months supply of panbesy & duromine, 2 months supply of garbaslim the fat burner. She even do the Vitamin D jab & sign up for the Vanquish! All in one go. She even ask Dr Keith to sent her, his Persian cat (Miu Miu's) picture- Miu Miu the kitten is seriously CUTE! Which he did ...haha...

Now one week later, Tammy has dropped more than 2kg! And she's actively looking for a Miu Miu look-alike Persian cat! Can you believe it? She has never had a pet before. We tease her, she should name her future cat Prada ....lol...
